How do I edit and manage a profile?

What a profile contains and where it appears, plus theme and branding customization for premium and tenant sites.

Your profile is your public presence on Spotagig. There are three types — performer, venue and producer — and you can hold more than one. This guide explains what a profile contains, where that information shows up, and how to customize its look.

Profile data & where it goes

Every profile shares a common set of fields:

  • Name & description — your headline and bio.
  • Image & favicon — your main photo/logo and the small browser-tab icon.
  • Contact — phone, email and website.
  • Social links — Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and more.
  • Location — used for maps and discovery.
  • Imprint — legal/contact text for your imprint page.

You can also add your own long-form sections — a menu, house rules, FAQ and similar — as custom profile pages. Published pages join the same profile nav as About and Imprint.

Each type then adds its own fields:

  • Performer — genre plus music links (YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Bandcamp and others).
  • Producer — rules/guidelines shown to performers who apply.
  • Venue — seating capacity, photos and an opening schedule.
Where it appears Profile data powers your public profile page and its sections — About, Apply for shows, Lineup, Shop, Location, Imprint and any custom pages you publish (sections vary by profile type). If your profile is linked to a custom domain, the same content powers your standalone tenant site.

Editing your profile

  1. Open your profiles Go to Profiles (sidebar: Perform → Profile) to see everything you manage.
  2. Edit the details Choose a profile and edit its fields. New profiles start as pending approval; you can keep working while you wait.
  3. Open type settings For deeper options, open the profile's settings page (Settings under Perform / Produce / Manage Venues). Settings are organized into accordions for Profile Edit, Theme Customization, Analytics Tracking, Pages and Team Management.
Tip Use Team Management to give collaborators access to a profile so they can help manage events and spots.

Profile customization (premium & tenants)

The Theme Customization accordion lets you brand your profile and any linked tenant site.

  • Theme colors — set primary, secondary, accent, background and text colors, plus event-card colors. Use Save Theme, Reset to Defaults and Preview Profile as you go.
  • Favicon — upload a custom browser-tab icon.
  • Custom CSS — your theme is served as a stylesheet so your branding applies consistently across your pages.
  • Analytics — add Google Analytics or Meta Pixel IDs under Analytics Tracking to measure traffic.
Premium & tenant sites A tenant site serves your profile on its own custom domain with your branding and a "Powered by Spotagig" footer. Custom domains are set up with our team rather than self-service — once linked, your profile's settings show a Tenant Site panel with the domain, aliases and checkout options (see widget vs. CTA: tenant checkout modes for what those options do). How many profiles you can create, and the premium options available to you, depend on your plan — see Plans, tiers & premium features.
