Importing events from Universe

Connect your Universe (Ticketmaster) account with OAuth, then import listings in bulk or by pasting a public URL. Multi-date listings expand into one event per date.

You can pull listings from Universe (Ticketmaster's self-serve ticketing product) into Spotagig instead of retyping them. Universe is a separate connection from Ticketmaster's public Discovery catalogue — you connect your organiser account and import the shows you host.

Connect your Universe account

Open Settings → Integrations, choose Universe, and click Connect to Universe. You'll sign in on Universe and grant Spotagig access to your listings. OAuth is the recommended method.

If you already have a Universe personal access token with the GraphQL scope, you can paste it as an API key instead.

Expired connection Universe access tokens expire (about 30 days). If an import starts failing, reconnect the integration from settings. Automatic refresh lands in a later update.

Import your listings

Once Universe is connected, go to Import events.

  • Bulk import brings in upcoming listings on the connected Universe account. Pick the ones you want on the preview screen.
  • Import from URL takes a public listing address such as universe.com/events/my-show-tickets-W9PXC3. Spotagig reads the listing code from the URL — a paste that looks like attacker.com/universe.com is rejected.

Multi-date listings

A Universe listing can have several dates (timeslots). Pasting that listing — or finding it in a bulk import — expands each upcoming date into its own Spotagig event, the same way Eventbrite series import works. The listing stays linked as the series so you can tell they belong together.

Exporting to Universe

From an event's Platform Integrations tab you can publish a Spotagig event to Universe. Universe requires a title, start time, venue address, and map coordinates. Ticket types are created as a single General Admission rate from the event's price.

If an import doesn't work

What you seeWhat to do
"Invalid Universe URL" Paste the listing's public page URL (the address in your browser on Universe), including the short code at the end of the path.
"Universe is not connected" Connect Universe in settings with OAuth, or paste a personal access token as the API key.
"No events found… may be in the past" Imports bring in upcoming dates only. If every timeslot has already ended, there's nothing to import.
