Setting up analytics tracking
Add Google Analytics and Meta Pixel IDs to your profile so you can measure traffic on your tenant site.
Adding analytics IDs to your profile lets you measure how many visitors your tenant site receives and where they come from. Spotagig supports Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel out of the box.
Opening analytics settings
- Go to your profile settings In the sidebar, open Perform, Produce or Manage Venues and click Settings for the profile you want to configure.
- Open the Analytics accordion On the settings page, expand the Analytics Tracking accordion.
Google Analytics 4
GA4 tracks page views, sessions and events on your site. You need a
Measurement ID — it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX.
-
Find your Measurement ID
In Google Analytics, go to
Admin → Data Streams, select your web
stream, and copy the Measurement ID
(starts with
G-). - Paste it into the settings Under Google Analytics 4 ID in the Analytics accordion, paste your Measurement ID.
- Save Click Save Analytics Settings. The tag starts loading on your tenant site immediately.
Meta Pixel
The Meta Pixel lets you track visitors and conversions in Meta Ads Manager. You
need your Pixel ID — a numeric string like
1234567890.
- Find your Pixel ID In Meta Business Suite, go to Events Manager, select your pixel and copy the Pixel ID shown at the top (numbers only).
- Paste it into the settings Under Meta Pixel ID in the Analytics accordion, paste the numeric ID.
- Save Click Save Analytics Settings. The pixel starts loading on your tenant site immediately.
Consent & GDPR
Spotagig implements Google Consent Mode v2 and Meta's consent API. Both tags default to denied on page load. Tracking only fires after a visitor accepts the cookie banner — marketing consent enables the Meta Pixel, and analytics consent enables GA4. This is handled automatically; you don't need to configure anything extra.
