Getting started with Spotagig
What Spotagig is, the difference between performer, venue and producer profiles, and how to find your way around.
Spotagig connects performers with venues and event organizers. Whether you run shows, host them or perform at them, this page helps you find the right starting point.
Pick the right profile type
You work on Spotagig through a profile. There are three kinds:
Performer
Show off your act, browse open spots and apply to perform.
Venue
List your space, host events and discover performers.
Producer
Organize events across venues and coordinate lineups.
Your first steps
- Create a profile Head to Profiles and add a performer, venue or producer profile. See editing and managing a profile for what goes where.
- Add your first event Producers and venues can import or create an event. Importing from Eventbrite or Fienta is the quickest way to start.
- Build the show Invite performers, manage spots and use the green room — all in managing a lineup.
- Sell some tickets Link out to an existing ticket page, or sell through Spotagig with the money going straight to your own account.
Finding your way around
The left sidebar groups everything by what you're doing:
- Events — browse what's on, and find your own shows under My Events.
- Perform — your performer dashboard, your Spots, and your profile settings.
- Produce — create or import events, your Lists and your Ticketing catalog.
- Manage Venues — your venue dashboard and the venue directory.
You'll only see the sections that apply to the profiles you have. The question-mark icon brings you back to this Help Center at any time.
