Managing your events

Find your shows under My Events, work through the manage tabs, publish or unpublish, duplicate a show, and edit or delete several at once.

Once an event exists, everything you do to it happens in one of two places: the My Events list (for finding shows and changing several at once) and an event's Manage page (for working on one show in depth).

Finding your shows

Events → My Events lists every show you can manage — as the lead producer, as a co-producer, or through a venue or producer profile you're on the team for. Use the search and filters to narrow it down, then click a show to open it.

The manage page, tab by tab

Open a show and you'll find its work split across tabs. Which ones you see depends on the event and your permissions.

  • Overview — the summary of the show at a glance.
  • Event Details — title, description, dates, venue, producer and the event's options. This is where you edit the show itself.
  • Manage Spots — invite performers and work through applications. See managing a lineup.
  • Platform Integrations — where this event is connected to Eventbrite, Fienta or WordPress. See managing your event across ticketing platforms.
  • Ticketing — attach ticket tiers and choose where the show sells. See ticket tiers & where your show sells.
  • Attendees — who's coming. See attendees & door check-in.
  • Green Room — the shared message board for everyone on the show.
Save the event first The Ticketing and Attendees tabs need a saved event before they can do anything — on a brand-new event they'll ask you to save first.

Publishing & unpublishing

Every event has a publication status:

  • Draft — only your team can see it. New events start here.
  • Published — live and publicly visible.
  • Archived — taken out of listings without deleting it.

Change it from the event's manage page whenever you're ready. If a show isn't appearing publicly, its status is the first thing to check.

Producer profiles need approval A producer profile that hasn't been approved yet can create events, but they won't be publicly visible until the profile is approved — even when the event says Published.

Duplicating a show

Running the same night every month? Open the show you want to copy and choose Duplicate event. Spotagig clones it into a new draft for you to adjust and publish, so you don't rebuild the same details every time.

Changing several events at once

From My Events, select the shows you want with their checkboxes and use the bulk actions.

  1. Select the events Tick each show you want to change. The bulk action bar appears once something is selected.
  2. Bulk edit Change Publication Status, Venue, Producer, Open to all performers or Auto Lineup across all of them, and add or remove closed lists in one go. Leave a field on any to leave it untouched.
  3. Bulk delete Deleting removes the shows for good, so check your selection first. Spotagig only ever changes events you actually have permission to manage.
