Buying or reserving a ticket
For audiences: how checkout works, where your QR ticket and confirmation email arrive, and how to find an order again later.
This one's for the audience. If you're booking a night out through Spotagig, here's how it works and where your ticket ends up.
Booking a ticket
- Open the event and choose your tickets Pick the ticket type you want and set the Quantity. Some shows offer more than one type — general admission and VIP, say — at different prices.
- Add your details Under Your details, give the Name and Email for the booking. Use an address you can actually open on the night — that's where the tickets go.
- Pay, or just reserve Paid tickets go through a secure Stripe checkout. Free events simply reserve your place — no card needed.
Where your ticket arrives
As soon as the payment clears you'll land on a confirmation page showing your tickets, each with its own QR code. A confirmation email follows with the same tickets attached.
If the page says it's still confirming your tickets, give it a few seconds — that's just the payment settling. You don't need to pay again, and the email arrives either way.
On the night
Bring the QR code — on your phone or printed. Each code admits one person and is scanned once on the way in. If you booked for several people, the order contains a ticket per person, so either arrive together or forward each guest their own.
If something goes wrong
- No email? Check your spam folder and confirm you typed the address correctly at checkout.
- Lost the link? The organizer can look you up by name or email on their attendee list — contact them directly.
- Refunds and changes are handled by the event organizer, not by Spotagig. Their details are on the event page.
