In the Soviet Union, November 7 was celebrated as Revolution Day. What do you think a joke with that setup should end with? Let’s gather in Berlin and find out together.
Join us on November 7 at The Wall for The Kee News - a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
This is not just a regular comedy showcase. The comedians will bring their own takes on politics, pop culture, Berlin life, expat chaos and everything weird happening in the world right now. Then the audience gets involved: write down the news that matters to you, and we’ll discuss it live on stage.
It can be anything - elections, scandals, celebrity gossip, a strange thing that happened at work, your flatmate joining a cult, or your mum suddenly becoming a political commentator. If it feels important to you, we can probably make it funny.
On stage:
Ludwig Benecke - a Swiss-German comedian who has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, opened for Victor Patrascan on tour and brings dry, clever comedy about culture, language and the weirdness of everyday life.
Tommy Ferrari - an Italian comedian performing across Europe with playful stories about life in Germany, Italian heritage and the everyday nonsense of trying to be a functioning adult.
Sandy Jones - a Bolivian-British comedian bringing high-energy, cheeky and sharp observations about Germany, culture shock and international life in English, Spanish and German.
The Kee - host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.

December is the time to look back at the year and ask one important question: was any of that really necessary?
2026 has given us enough political scandals, cultural disasters and bizarre headlines to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, the news doesn’t take Christmas holidays. So before the year ends, let’s get together and laugh at it.
Join us on December 5 at The Wall in Berlin for The Kee News — a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
This is not just a regular comedy showcase. Our comedians bring their own takes on politics, pop culture, Berlin life, expat chaos and everything weird happening in the world. Then you get involved: write down a piece of news that matters to you, and we’ll discuss it live on stage.
It can be a government scandal, a celebrity meltdown, something ridiculous your boss said, or the fact that your family has already started fighting about Christmas. If it feels important to you, we can probably make it funny.
On stage:
Dima Watermelon — a Ukrainian comedian who has performed in more than 20 countries, including at the Edinburgh Fringe, London’s Comedy Store and New York’s Gotham Comedy Club. His comedy mixes deadpan absurdity, social commentary and the strange experience of being Ukrainian, European and somehow neither.
Eman Khallouf — a Jordanian comedian with Palestinian and Turkish roots, bringing sharp, unapologetically personal comedy about cultural identity, family expectations, relationships and the absurdities of starting a new life in Germany. She has performed since 2017 and created her own solo show, Fake Arab Energy.
Ludwig Benecke — a Swiss-German comedian who has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, opened for Victor Patrascan and Rory Scovel, and appeared on German television. With an engineer’s analytical mind and a comedian’s questionable life choices, he finds absurdity in culture, identity and everyday behaviour.
The Kee — host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.

New year, new me. Same politicians, same rent, same global chaos.
It’s January 2. Most people are still recovering from New Year’s Eve, trying to remember their resolutions or discovering that the gym membership they bought is non-refundable.
But the news never gets a hangover. And neither does The Kee News.
Join us on January 2 at The Wall in Berlin for The Kee News — a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
We’re starting 2027 with a new lineup of comedians, fresh jokes and absolutely no promises that the year will be better than the last one.
This isn’t just another stand-up showcase. Our comedians perform their own takes on the world, and then the audience gets to join in. Write down a piece of news you want to discuss — politics, celebrity gossip, your terrible New Year’s party, or your flatmate’s sudden decision to become a life coach — and we’ll turn it into a live comedy discussion.
The world has already started being ridiculous again. We might as well get ahead of it.
On stage:
Drew Portnoy — an American comedian and longtime Berliner who performs in both English and German. A regular on comedy stages across Germany, including the Quatsch Comedy Club, Drew turns the absurdities of German everyday life, family and cultural misunderstandings into sharp observational comedy.
Jules Oakes — a British comedian, writer and actor based in Berlin whose debut solo show, Fragile, premiered at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. After 12 years in the tech industry, she escaped into stand-up, where she combines heartfelt personal stories with wonderfully strange observations about modern life.
Sandy Jones — a Bolivian-British comedian bringing energetic, cheeky and sharp observations about Germany, culture shock and international life. A regular on Berlin’s comedy scene, Sandy performs in English, Spanish and German — proving that cultural misunderstandings can be funny in at least three languages.
The Kee — host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.

February is the shortest month of the year. Somehow, the news still manages to make it feel like the longest.
Politicians are making promises, celebrities are making apologies, and everyone in Berlin is desperately waiting for the sun to return.
Fortunately, there’s another way to survive winter: make fun of absolutely everything.
Join us on February 6 at The Wall in Berlin for The Kee News — a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
Our comedians bring their own perspectives on politics, society, relationships, culture and whatever new absurdity the world has produced. Then we invite the audience into the conversation.
Write down the news that matters to you, and we’ll discuss it live on stage. It can be a political scandal, an international crisis, something unbelievable you saw online, or the fact that your landlord has somehow found another reason to keep your deposit.
Serious news. Silly jokes. Sometimes the other way around.
On stage:
Sepideh Kaav — an Iranian-born, Berlin-based comedian whose dark, deadpan stand-up explores politics, identity, growing up in Iran and the strange expectations of European life. Featured on ARTE, she has also brought her comedy to the Edinburgh Fringe with her solo show 1979: Persianality Disorder.
Prateek Jajoo — an internationally performing comedian and creator of English-language comedy shows in Berlin, including The Comedy Gallery, where stand-up meets art and audience interaction. His comedy projects have also been performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Nav Jain — a Berlin-based stand-up comedian, storyteller and show producer who hosts live storytelling nights and co-runs the creative collective Late Crow. From personal disasters to strange things people say and do, Nav turns everyday experiences into entertaining stories.
The Kee — host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.

Spring is almost here. The days are getting longer, the weather is getting better, and the news is still doing its best to ruin everyone’s mood.
But at least we have comedy.
Join us on March 6 at The Wall in Berlin for The Kee News — a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
Every month, a new lineup of comedians brings fresh perspectives on the world’s strangest developments. And this time, we have a particularly interesting mixture of dark humour, roast-battle energy and experienced Berlin stand-up.
But this isn’t just a comedy showcase.
After the stand-up sets, the audience gets involved. Write down a piece of news that matters to you — politics, celebrity gossip, something at work, an awkward family situation, or your neighbour’s increasingly suspicious behaviour — and we’ll discuss it together on stage.
The more ridiculous the story, the more seriously we’ll pretend to take it.
On stage:
Nir Gottleid — an Israeli comedian, international performer and producer of Berlin’s Dark Mode comedy shows. Having performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and Brighton Fringe, Nir is known for fearless dark humour, savage self-deprecation and jokes about subjects most people would rather avoid at dinner.
Jonny Amiran — a comedian active in Berlin’s English-language stand-up and roast-battle scene, including appearances at Roast Battle Berlin. Expect the kind of unapologetic comedy where a perfectly innocent conversation can suddenly turn into an argument with a punchline.
Daniel Gutierrez — a Venezuelan comedian and one of the experienced voices of Europe’s English-language stand-up scene. Performing since 2010, he helped build the English comedy scene in Barcelona before becoming a fixture in Berlin, where he produces and hosts the long-running Chuckleheads comedy show.
The Kee — host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.

April Fools’ Day was two days ago. Unfortunately, nobody told the world to stop.
The headlines are still ridiculous, politicians are still competing with professional comedians, and reality keeps coming up with jokes nobody would believe if we wrote them ourselves.
So we’re doing what we do best: making fun of the news.
Join us on April 3 at The Wall in Berlin for The Kee News — a smart, funny and slightly chaotic news-based comedy show where comedians turn headlines, politics, personal drama and global madness into stand-up.
This is more than a regular comedy showcase. Three guest comedians bring their unique perspectives on politics, pop culture, social absurdities and the strange experience of living in Berlin. Then we turn the microphone towards the audience — figuratively, at least.
Write down a piece of news that matters to you, and we’ll discuss it live on stage. It can be a major international event, an embarrassing celebrity scandal, your latest encounter with German bureaucracy, or something your parents posted in the family WhatsApp group.
If it’s real, we can probably make it sound fake. If it’s already fake, even better.
On stage:
Dima Watermelon — a Ukrainian comedian who has performed in more than 20 countries, including at the Edinburgh Fringe, London’s Comedy Store and New York’s Gotham Comedy Club. Known for deadpan absurdity, social commentary and culturally inappropriate jokes, Dima finds comedy in everything from international politics to the everyday contradictions of living abroad.
Devansh Sharma — an Indian comedian based in Berlin who turns immigration, colonialism, cultural confusion and the strange rules of modern society into warm, intelligent observational comedy. A data analyst by background, he brings an analytical eye to the things that make absolutely no sense.
Topf Schmid (Christoph Schmid) — a Venezuelan-born comedian, writer and producer based in Berlin, whose comedy explores dark subjects, family life and historical absurdities. He has worked on projects for Comedy Central and RBB and co-produces Roast Battle Berlin, part of the international roast-battle scene.
The Kee — host of the show, comedian with 15 years of experience, creator of a YouTube late-night show, arrested for jokes in Russia and now making comedy in Berlin.
